Where do I begin?
First impressions of people who aren’t inclined with this genre often mistaken them as sad and pessimistic or sometimes even as “Indian Music”. Which is all the while partially true when it comes to the sad part. Though indie music will run through your veins when the music plays, and it will give you mixed emotions and sometimes even bring out the inner dark side you have buried in you. It isn’t exactly emo or rock, it could be both, but it’s more of a genre that makes you stop and think and makes you visualize yourself in black clothing, walking at the streets during a cold night, and attending concerts. It’s an unexplainable vibe, really. In so far as, indie will make you channel your inner bohemian, gothic, and artsy side. So I suggest that to listen to bands like the Arctic Monkeys, The 1975, Mumford and Sons, Kodaline and more of the like will keep you at your solidarity but at the same time make you think deep.
Deciding for a better future is a very crucial thing. But most of the students today focus on playing video games, doing vices and falling in love. Those typical factors of our generation change the way of our future. Most of the time, these unnecessary activities are usually the disturbances of a student. They are attached with the flow of the world, which needs to be stopped. There is no benefit nor advantages of a given activity if it dine too much, or if it is already an addiction. Actually, there are also vices and the sin of list that are needed to be stopped. Vices are habits that involve drinking alcoholic beverages, using drugs and smoking. We are still in the early stage of life, so we should never do those bad habits. Even though your friends might do it or if you are being influenced, you should always learn to control. The society nowadays affects us, younger people, so we need to be aware that our life should be safe from harm and dangerous activities.
Studying really hard is one of the best actions right now to achieve our future dreams. Listening and studying more precisely today are important until we compile, learn and understand the basics of the high school education. Decision making is crucial because it will affect your fate, friends,course and especially your choice.
5 seconds of summer is an Australian pop-rock band formed in Sydney, Australia. Formed in 2011, The band consisted of Michael Clifford, Luke Hemmings, Calum Hood and Ashton Irwin.
The group were originally Youtube celebrities posting videos of themselves covering various songs in 2011. From there, they gained popularity in 2012 after posting a series of cover versions of popular songs by various artists onto Youtube, then rose to international fame when one direction invited them to play as an opening act for their take me home tour. The band had also conducted a contest called Derp Con where in they would pick fans from all around the world and fly then the states to watch their concert at the Forum located in California. Although the band may have gained a lot of fame world wide, they are not the next one direction.
It really shouldn't be a surprise that Taylor Swift's new album, 1989 turned out so intriguingly good. Every time she releases an album, it always becomes my favorite. But then she released the first single Shake it off and i got a bit discouraged. For me, she picked the wrong single. People thought she was going to morph into another mainstream pop singer gone bad. But that's not a case at all. Despite all the hate she's gotten from dating One Direction member, Harry Styles, she still manages to get everybody raving over her album the minute it came out. That's the magic of Taylor Swift for me. She changes her style in every album, slowly but surely. From her self-titled album to 1989, she slowly stripped off her country style. 1989 is pure 1980's pop, and even though her new music sounds a lot different that her old style, her fans. The Swifties, quickly adapted to this change.
Overall, claps for Taylor Swift for always ending up surprising us with her new music. 1989 is probably her best album yet. But then again, who knows what she'll do with her next album? One thing's for sure, it's not going to disappoint me. Taylor Swift has never disappointed me.
Movie review: Love rosie
I watched the movie "love,rosie" and i loved it. It was first released in the us on 17th October of 2014 then was released in the Philippines 8th of January 1015. The movie was about two best friends who are almost crossing the line of friendship. But situations and other people keep getting in their way but they still maintain a deep rooted conversation. Lily collins and sam Claflin are both perfect for their roles as Rosie and Alex. They have this chemistry that you'd fight for the pair to be together from the start.
It was this. It became this.
I wanted it to be this.
It could be like this.
It would’ve been like this.
It should’ve been like this.
But it is what it is.
After so many phases and episodes of our good and our bad, who knew the final movie of us would end up the way I never viewed it to be. It was all good then things got blurred and twisted. I tried to fix it. But the hours flew away and the seasons changed. The many cups of caffeine, the seconds that slipped away from every lyric of an Ed Sheeran song, all the late night walks I did alone, every place I went just to think and not one moment did you ever not cross my mind. You were the ultimate star to me and indeed you deserve an Oscar for that. You were my best moment, my best movie. You were the best worst scene. Though I’d never cut you. The movie has ended as you and I did. It’s time to leave the cinema, yet I’m still here.
You should tell people how important to you.
Not because they could leave at any moment
but because they're here now,
and it's worth saying something.
What makes someone a hero?
Heroes are people who transform compassion (a personal virtue) into heroic action (a civic virtue). In doing so, they put their best selves forward in service to humanity. A hero is as an individual or a network of people that take action on behalf of others in need, or in defense of integrity or a moral cause.
Heroic action is:
Engaged in voluntarily;
Conducted in service to one or more people or the community as a whole;
Involving a risk to physical comfort, social stature, or quality of life; and
Initiated without the expectation of material gain.
Heroism is not random acts of kindness, as great as they are. Heroism is very distinct. A hero is not someone you simply admire or respect. A hero is a very distinct person.
Every person needs a hero. A hero is someone who can stand up for you and also it can be you. You can be your own hero. Have faith and courage because we all have our inner hero.
